Dan Williams
Senior Private Wealth Consultant
With a background in executive coaching and financial consulting, Dan helps clients create and implement financial life plans that mitigate risk. In 2024, he made a transition to Wellfleet Wealth Advisors, LLC, after spending 10 years at the RIA firm, Acorn Financial Advisory Services. He initially worked as an Investment Adviser Representative at ING Financial Partners in Boston.
Before joining the financial service industry, Dan specialized in executive development, communication and coaching. His consulting experience included work in mainland China, giving him a global perspective and appreciation for other cultures.
Prior to his executive consulting work, Dan pursued a career in business journalism, publishing in such publications as Business Week, International Management, Boston Globe business page and the Boston Globe Magazine.
Dan received the Harvard Business School Certificate of Specialization in Finance and Accounting. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Boston University, where he also received his Certificate in Financial Planning. Dan holds Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Dan is passionate about the natural beauty and community of Wellfleet on Cape Cod. He lives in Wellfleet, Ma. in addition to Needham, Ma. He is also a Board member of Healing Hands Worldwide, a non-profit based in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The group provides free chemo treatments and medical information to women suffering from breast cancer in Jamaica, Ghana and Ethiopia. The organization also provides an empowerment mentoring program for high performing high school students in the Caribbean and Africa.
Rick Koonce, PCC
Certified Executive and Life Transition Coach
Rick Koonce, PCC, is a certified executive and life transition coach with over 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate significant personal, professional, and life transitions.
A long-time member of the executive coaching bench at Harvard Business School (HBS), Rick coaches in several HBS executive education programs, notably its Advanced Management and Owner/President Programs. He works extensively with C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, business founders, and family businesses on transitions that involve life/career planning, personal fulfillment, business transformation, retirement, and legacy. Prior to joining the HBS coaching bench, Rick coached in numerous executive development programs at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rick is the author or co-author of seven books, including two which deal with the topics of strategic wealth management, entrepreneurial stewardship, and multi-generational family and legacy planning.
Before becoming an executive and life coach, Rick was a senior consultant to the change management practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting and served executive clients around the world. Prior to that, he was a print and broadcast journalist, and a commentator on public radio’s popular business program, ”Marketplace” for five years.
Rick holds a BA from the College of William and Mary and an MA from Georgetown University, and is a graduate of the Georgetown Institute of Transformational Leadership and the AT&T National Sales School.
He is an International Coach Federation-and Hogan Assessment-certified coach, and is also credentialed in the CCL Suite of Leadership Assessments and the MBTI, FIRO-B, EQi, and Enneagram Assessments.
Rick is a contributing author to Chief Learning Officer Magazine, HR Executive and many other publications.
Rick and his family live in Hyannis, Ma. on Cape Cod.

Keegan DeSilva
Senior Analyst
Keegan manages all due-diligence data among both private and public offerings through Wellfleet Wealth’s broker/dealer, Great Point Capital. This strategic partnership allows Wellfleet Wealth to provide alternative investments to qualified investors.
Keegan evaluates investment opportunities, creates detailed financial models, analyzes valuations, conducts extensive company and industry due diligence. Keegan also interfaces with legal and accounting advisers, lending partners and industry consultants and communicates with current portfolio company management as well as potential acquisition management. He joined Great Point Capital in 2018.
Keegan has a BA in Economics from Elon University and an MBA from the Quinlan School of Business at the Loyola University of Chicago.
Valerie Cummins
Director of Operations
Valerie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Wellfleet Wealth and it’s RIA firm, Great Point Advisors. Adding to her years of RIA operations experience she has also served as a director of compliance. Valerie joined Great Point Capital in 2023 as the Director of RIA Operations. The combination of these positions has developed Valerie into a creative problem solver with a passion for excellent client service.
